Ever since its inception, K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research has been on the path of success with its quality management education, training and research. The college has well-stocked library with a rich collection of around 90,000 books, Harvard case studies, 15 newspapers, 150 Indian and International periodicals, CDs, and video films. It is housed in an area of 7000 sq feet and offers access to online database like EBSCO, PROQUEST, CRISIL etc. The campus also has accommodation, sports complex, medical facilities and various labs.

KJ Somaiya Eligibility Criteria:
Student pursuing or having completed a minimum of three year graduate programme in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks from any University, recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/AICTE, as eligible for Post Graduate Studies in Management. Those students who are appearing for their final examination in April – May 2013 can also apply. However, they should produce documentary evidence of having passed the graduation examination with minimum aggregate marks as specified above, on or before 31st July 2013, failing which the students will forfeit their admission. The student must have completed the graduation examination process before joining the Institute. No leave of absence will be granted after the date of joining for any such examinations.

KJ Somaiya Scholarships
This scholarship is provided to meritorious Indian Students of the MBA Programme and International students of PGDM as well as Foreign Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin & Non-Resident Indian Students in the PGDM. The scholarship provides the boarding and food expenses for two years during the period of study at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management.
Subject-Based Scholarship: The scholarship is provided to the students of Humanity or liberal arts and who score first class during the first year.
Need-Based Scholarship: There are three kinds of scholarship under the need-based category – SmtSakarbai K Somaiya scholarship, Smt Maya Devi Somaiya, and DhirenSavla scholarship. DhirenSavla scholarship is only provided for girl students. The student must take admission under the merit list to qualify for the scholarship and hold Indian nationality.
Merit-Based Scholarship: This scholarship is open to all students of KJ Somaiya institute who have taken admission under the merit list and maintained good grades during their study year but this scholarship will consider academic performance and students’ financial needs at the same time.
Special Interest Scholarships: KJ Somaiya Institute of Management provides a variety of scholarship options to help the merit cum need-based students to support different student backgrounds and their different sets of interests.
Research Fellowships: KJ Somaiya also offers research fellowships at the doctoral level. For the fellowship, the candidate has to be a current student of the institute and the student’s proposal must include a faculty member as an active member.
