- NTA has decreased the number of exam centres from 153 to 124.
- Last year, the Innovation & Entrepreneurship section was added as an additional section in the CMAT paper pattern and an additional 30 minutes was allotted for this section. Familiarity with Exam Pattern
First and foremost it is very important for candidates to be aware of the exam pattern of CMAT 2023 before they start their preparation. Details related to the CMAT marking scheme, number of questions, time duration etcetera are provided under the CMAT 2023 exam pattern.
Over the years the basic structure of the CMAT exam did not encounter many alterations and remained constant except in 2021. An additional optional section on Innovation and Entrepreneurship was added in CMAT 2021. Since last year, the additional section has been mandatory.
Last year CMAT exam analysis
There were two to 4 tricky questions overall. The QA and DI section of CMAT was easy and 17-18 questions are a good attempt. The Logical Reasoning section was of easy level too with questions from alphabets, series, blood relations, and more. Candidates who attempted around 15 questions in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship section are likely to clear the sectional cutoff.
