Common mistakes to avoid while filling CAT application form
- Work experience in the CAT exam means the full-time work experience of candidates, particularly, after their graduation only. Candidates cannot mention any internship or apprenticeship taken before graduation.
- If a candidate runs a business or is self-employed, they can provide the same in the work experience category with proper documents supporting the same. Non-production of the required documents can lead to disqualification in the further stage of CAT admission process.
- Make sure you provide your name and other personal details correctly in CAT application form.
- Mention the marks of all subjects including the additional subjects provided in your 10th or 12th class marksheet.
- Convert your CGPA, obtained in graduation or 10th class, carefully into the percentage as per the guidelines.
- Choose the CAT exam centre preference carefully. The allotted CAT exam centre cannot be changed once submitted.
- It is best to select all courses and colleges in the CAT application form to have a wide range of options available to you. There are no additional charges for selecting more than one program or college in the CAT application form.
