Exam Mode: XAT is usually conducted in computer-based mode (online), but the General Knowledge section is administered in pen and paper-based format.

Negative Marking: There is negative marking for wrong answers. Usually, 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect response.

Exam Date: The XAT exam is usually held in January every year.
