International Management Institute, New Delhi, known as IMI, New Delhi is a private business school located in New Delhi, India. Established in the year 1981, it was India’s first corporate sponsored business school.
PGDM is a two-year diploma program given by AICTE-accredited autonomous B-Schools that focuses on delivering practical management knowledge. The full version of PGDM is Postgraduate Diploma in Management, and it is comparable to MBA if the college is AIU approved.
The PGDM course is quite similar to the MBA course in that both deal with management courses at the postgraduate level.
The PGDM programme lasts two years, and candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, ideally in management, to be qualified. However, graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply for this programme. PGDM admission is mostly determined by entrance tests such as the MAT, CAT, XAT, and others.
IMI PGDM Subjects
PGDM curriculum can be divided into 4 semesters. The curriculum is as per Industry standards and norms which helps the student to be job ready and get proper placements. The first semester and Second semester deals with mostly theory and core subjects. There is a compulsory internship during the course to help the students get accustomed to the challenges and requirements.
