Great Lakes Application Process for Admission 2023

Students interested in enrolling in Great Lakes Institute of Management courses should go to the official website. The application form, which can be found on the GLIM admission portal, will request all relevant information, including the course in which the students wish to enroll. Students must pay an application fee of INR 1000 to complete the GLIM application procedure for the PGDM, M.B.A., and P.G.P.M. programs. This cost can be paid in person at the Great Lakes Institute of Management campus or online using net banking, credit cards, debit cards, and other candidates’ desired methods.

Eligibility Criteria – Great Lakes PGDM Admissions

All applicants are required to appear for GMAT/CAT*/XAT + /CMAT before applying to Great Lakes Institute of Management.

For PGDM 2024 Intake, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept scores of GMAT taken after 1st January 2021, CAT taken in 2022/2023, XAT taken in 2023/2024 or CMAT taken in 2023/2024.

All applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution and minimum 60% score across 10^th/12^th/Undgraduation.

Freshers and candidates with strictly less than 36 months of work experience as on 30th June 2024 ONLY are eligible to apply.

Candidates with 2-3 years of work experience by 30th April 2024 are encouraged to apply for the One Year Flagship PGPM, although are also eligible to apply for the Two year PGDM.

In case an eligible candidate would like to apply for both the programs, they may do so by filling the application forms for both PGPM and PGDM separately. Candidates will be evaluated based on the respective program’s admission criteria. The admissions panel may also recommend the candidates for a specific program based on the assessment and program fit.

There will be a special preference for College / University rank holders in terms of an extra weightage gained as part of the selection process. The onus of proof of rank is vested in the applicant.

Eligibility Criteria – Great Lakes Admissions

All applicants are required to appear for GMAT/CAT*/XAT + /CMAT before applying to Great Lakes Institute of Management.

For PGDM 2024 Intake, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept scores of GMAT taken after 1st January 2021, CAT taken in 2022/2023, XAT taken in 2023/2024 or CMAT taken in 2023/2024.

All applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution and minimum 60% score across 10^th/12^th/Undgraduation.

Freshers and candidates with strictly less than 36 months of work experience as on 30th June 2024 ONLY are eligible to apply.

Candidates with 2-3 years of work experience by 30th April 2024 are encouraged to apply for the One Year Flagship PGPM, although are also eligible to apply for the Two year PGDM.

Welingkar Institute of Management is an autonomous institute, and all of its Hybrid Learning Programs are autonomous, however, it is one of the few institutions whose Distance Learning Programs have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.

Program Duration and Registration Validity: These are two-year distance learning programs. The two-year program is broken down into four semesters. What’s new at IMI Delhi 2022? The CAT 2022 exam will take place on November 27 and the registrations will take place between August 3 and September 14. The final placement report for the 2020-22 batch has been released on the official website of the institute. By December 30, 2021, the institute had achieved a 100% placement rate. The IMI, New Delhi Campus includes an amphitheatre as a central node around which the academic block, residence blocks and recreational facilities are all located. The academic complex consists of lecture halls, the Tata Chemicals Computer Centre, BOC Executive Training Room, RPG Auditorium, Williamson Magor Library, Faculty Chambers and Administrative offices. All lecture halls have access to the latest presentation equipment such as DLP Multimedia Projectors, Laptop Notebook Computers, Electronic Copy Boards, OHP Projectors, Internet and Intranet Connectivity and a modern Sound System.

IMI, New Delhi has a computing facility for the students on campus with more than 400 plus Wi-Fi enabled computers at locations including hostel rooms, amphitheatre and canteen. IMI Campus has two computer labs which are equipped with more than 100 computers.

The Williamson Magor Library and Information Service (WMLIS) has a stock of about 22000 volumes covering business and management, and also related areas. The 5256 periodical titles subscribed [online + hardcopy versions] by the WML are vital sources for academic research and up-to-date business information. Most Journals are available electronically through the Business Source Complete [EBSCO], Sage, ScienceDirect, JSTOR and Emerald databases. Admissions for IMI, New Delhi are conducted through Common Admission Test (CAT). The Institute also accepts Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores for foreign students and non-resident Indian students. Apart from the test scores, candidates are evaluated on the basis of past academic performance in graduation, class XII & X, extempore speaking, psychometric test, essay writing and personal interview, besides other qualitative parameters for admission shortlists.

IMI, New Delhi has a state of the art computing facility for the students on campus. The Tata Chemicals Computer Centre has five servers (IBM, HP) with latest Windows Server operating environments. The campus has a network of more than 400 computers, and is Wi-Fi enabled to ensure mobile computing at all locations including hostel rooms, amphitheater and canteen. The campus has a 600 MBPS, 24-hour high-speed internet connectivity.

IMI Campus has two exclusive high-tech computer labs. These computer labs are equipped with more than 100 (HP) computers having latest technology for on-line classes and practice sessions. High-speed laser printers and Color Laser Printers are available for printing purposes.

The software library includes latest software like Windows 10, Office 365, SmartPLS, Nvivo, Excel Miner, Visual Studio, E-views, MS Project, SPSS, MSDN Academic License, Quick Heal End Point Security Server Client Editions, SAP, Corel Draw, Photoshop etc.

Entire IMI, New Delhi campus is enabled with Wi-Fi which uses Ruckus Indoor & Outdoor Access points with Wi-Fi Zone Director Controller 3000 Series.

The IMI Campus network is protected with Sophos XG430 – Application based firewall with fall- back technology.

Online assessment software is installed on the network to facilitate grading, online feedback, online quiz, and online attendance. For the purpose of viewing student performance, the staff, faculty members and the students themselves have been provided with login id’s, through which they can access the network based software, at any location within the campus.

Each faculty member is provided with a HP laptop and a LaserJet printer to ensure that their best gets delivered to the students. All research associates, secretaries, library, accounts and administration staff is provided with latest HP personal computer.

IMI has a Web interface, which is accessible at http://www.imi.edu/ and an Intranet for all internal users.
